There's no blog post here. I have no yearning desire to write about an admittedly brilliant final at Wembley between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. But I had to post the GIF of the Champions League winning goal somewhere. Look, Dortmund were the neutrals' favourites and FC Hollywood don't usually make non-Bavarians warm and fuzzy. Nonetheless, Arjen Robben, of all people, deserved that moment after a career punctured by injury and falling at the last hurdle (just ask Iker Casillas and Petr Cech). It was the right result as well, with Bayern undoubtedly the best team in Europe, winning the treble. In any case, it was just great to see a side ruthlessly take down the often nauseatingly spoken-about Barcelona.
